Guests receive one-on-one mentorship the moment they arrive: our experts work with you to set goals for the retreat and beyond, teach strategies that will sharpen your writing, and refine your vision for your project. Peer workshops yield invaluable feedback, and optional courses in the fundamentals of screenwriting make our program perfect for veterans and beginners alike. Daily office hours with instructors ensure an attentive answer to your every question. 

Support from the Wheelhouse team continues after you return home. As the retreat concludes, we help you craft a plan to keep you inspired as life resumes around you. Remote check-ins with faculty and peers lets our writers stay connected and accountable in the weeks following the retreat.
